Walk through Puerto Rico's rainforest and discover its unique bays with this El Yunque Forest + Bioluminescent Bays Tour. The magic of nature with a kayak trip included!

Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point and then head north, passing through four villages, before stopping in Luquillo to discover local fruits.

The tour proceeds to the El Yunque Forest, known as the "natural wonder of Puerto Rico." You'll walk along trails to see animals and exotic plants, reach waterfalls to swim in natural pools, and enjoy fresh fruit.

Afterwards, you'll have 30 minutes to eat at a local restaurant. The next destination is the bioluminescent bays.

In Fajardo Bay, you'll kayak at sunset, paddling towards the Red Mangrove Forest to observe the luminous dinoflagellates. Admire the sunset at Laguna Grande while witnessing the sparkling waters and glowing fish.

Return to San Juan, arriving at the meeting point at 9:30 pm.

Activity Requirements

This excursion is moderately difficult. Participants must be in good physical condition. Those with neck or back issues, recent surgeries, pregnancy, epilepsy, or heart conditions cannot participate.

The maximum weight limit is 238 lbs (108 kg) per person and 423 lbs (192 kg) per kayak.
