Explore the Argentine province of San Juan with this trip to Jáchal, Rodeo, and Pismanta, three key places in this region.

Jachal, Rodeo and Pismanta Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in San Juan at 8 am, we will head to the northern area of the province, where you will enjoy the landscapes.

The first stop is in the city of San José de Jáchal, where we will see adobe houses, narrow alleys, and 18th-century colonial buildings. We will visit the Archdiocesan Sanctuary, declared a National Historical Monument, and see the Cristo Negro (Black Christ), made with local leather.

We will continue along National Route 150 into the central foothills, a region of biodiversity, where we may observe native fauna such as llamas. The itinerary will include a visit to the Cuesta del Viento dam.

Next, we will stop at Rodeo, the main settlement in the Iglesia region, where you will have one hour free for lunch (not included). You will learn how the town earned its name. After lunch, we will visit the Pismanta hot springs, where we will explain its invigorating properties.

On the way back to San Juan, we will pass through the towns of Las Flores and Bella Vista, reaching the highest point of the route: Mount Colorado.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in San Juan by around 6 pm.
