Explore the Argentine province of San Juan with this trip to Jáchal, Rodeo, and Pismanta, three key areas in this region.

Jachal, Rodeo and Pismanta Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in San Juan at 8 am, we will head to the northern area of the province, known for its stunning landscapes.

The first stop is the city of San José de Jáchal, where we will see adobe houses, narrow alleys, and 18th-century colonial buildings. We will also visit the Archdiocesan Sanctuary, a National Historical Monument, and view the Cristo Negro (Black Christ), made of local leather.

We will continue along National Route 150 into the central foothills, an area rich in biodiversity, where we can see native fauna like llamas. The itinerary includes a stop at the Cuesta del Viento dam.

Next, we will stop in the village of Rodeo, the main settlement in the Iglesia region, where you will have one hour for lunch (not included). Here, you will learn about the town's name origin. After lunch, we will visit the Pismanta hot springs and discuss their invigorating properties.

On the return to San Juan, we will pass through the towns of Las Flores and Bella Vista, reaching the highest point on the route at Mount Colorado.

We will return to your hotel in San Juan by around 6 pm.
