Explore the Argentine province of San Juan with this trip to Jáchal, Rodeo, and Pismanta: three key places in this region.

Jachal, Rodeo and Pismanta Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in San Juan at 8 am, we will head to the northern area of the province. The first stop is in the city of San José de Jáchal, where we will see adobe houses, narrow alleys, and 18th-century colonial buildings. We will visit the Archdiocesan Sanctuary, a National Historical Monument, and see the Cristo Negro (Black Christ), made of local leather.

We will follow National Route 150 into the central foothills, an environment of diverse native fauna, including llamas. The itinerary continues next to the Cuesta del Viento dam.

Next, we will stop at the village of Rodeo, the main settlement in the Iglesia region. You will have one hour free for lunch (not included) in this picturesque town. After lunch, we will stop at the Pismanta hot springs, where we will discuss its invigorating properties.

On the way back to San Juan, we will pass through the towns of Las Flores and Bella Vista, and reach the highest point on the route: Mount Colorado. Finally, we will return to your hotel in San Juan, arriving at around 6 pm.
