Jachal, Rodeo and Pismanta Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in San Juan at 8 am, we will head to the northern area of the province to explore the landscapes.
The first stop is in the city of San José de Jáchal, where we will see adobe houses, narrow alleys, and 18th-century colonial buildings. We will also visit the Archdiocesan Sanctuary, a National Historical Monument, and see the Cristo Negro (Black Christ), made with local leather.
We will continue along National Route 150 into the central foothills, a biodiverse environment with native fauna such as llamas. The itinerary proceeds to the Cuesta del Viento dam.
Next, we will stop at the village of Rodeo, the main settlement in the Iglesia region. You will have one hour free for lunch (not included) in this picturesque town, where you will learn how it earned its name. After lunch, we will visit the Pismanta hot springs to discuss their invigorating properties.
On the return to San Juan, we will pass through the towns of Las Flores and Bella Vista, reaching the highest point on the route: Mount Colorado.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in San Juan, arriving around 6 pm.
