Jachal, Rodeo and Pismanta Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in San Juan at 8 am, we will head to the northern area of the province to see the landscapes.
The first stop is in San José de Jáchal, where we will see its large adobe houses, narrow alleys, and 18th-century colonial buildings. We will visit the Archdiocesan Sanctuary, a National Historical Monument, and see the Cristo Negro (Black Christ), made with local leather.
We will follow the National Route 150, entering the central foothills, a biodiverse area where we may see native fauna such as llamas. The itinerary continues next to the Cuesta del Viento dam.
Next, we will stop at the village of Rodeo, the main settlement in the Iglesia region. You will have one hour free for lunch (not included) in this picturesque town. After lunch, we will explain the invigorating properties of the Pismanta hot springs.
On the way back to San Juan, we will pass through the towns of Las Flores and Bella Vista and reach the highest point on the route, Mount Colorado.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in San Juan, arriving around 6 pm.
