Be seduced by the unique charm of San Juan, the city which condenses the Spanish, American, and indigenous essence of Puerto Rico. Get to know the capital along with a private guide in English!
Advantages of a Private Tour
Reserving a private tour provides personalised service, allowing you to take the tour any day of the week and modify the itinerary. Larger groups can also benefit from cost savings.
Itinerary
At the indicated time we'll meet in the central Plaza de Colón to begin our private walking tour of San Juan. We will pass by the San Cristobal Fortress and the Alejandro Theatre, discussing the Spanish occupation and its impact on the island's structure. The tour includes the iconic Casino and the original traces of the old city walls.
As we explore, we'll see the characteristic coloured houses of Calle Fortaleza and talk about the battles against the British and Dutch before reaching the Las Palmas Bastion, which offers incredible views.
The tour features unique highlights: the first piña colada was created in a bar in San Juan, and the narrowest house in America is located in Puerto Rico. We will visit both of these sites before proceeding along Calle del Cristo.
There, we will find a chapel surrounded by mystery and reveal its legend during the tour. Our final stop will be the Totem, an obelisk honoring the indigenous peoples of the island.
Finally, the tour will conclude after 2 hours in front of San Juan's symbol: the Morro Fortress.
