Talampaya National Park Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in San Juan at 7 am, then head to the north of the province via National Route 150, crossing the region of La Rioja to reach Talampaya National Park.
Upon arrival at this protected area, we'll board an off-road truck for an informative tour through the National Park, including the Talampaya canyons. Prepare your camera for the spectacular landscapes.
During the tour, we'll observe the famous sandstone walls and discuss archaeological and paleontological remains found throughout the 20th century. We'll explain the origins of these discoveries as we traverse the plains between the canyons.
The route includes views of the unique geological formations of Talampaya, such as the Friar, Wizard King, Cathedral, Chess Board, Needles, Manger, and Castle, shaped by thousands of years of natural elements.
After three and a half hours at Talampaya, we'll return to the vehicle for the journey back, stopping at a nearby restaurant for one hour free to eat.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel in San Juan, arriving at 9 pm.
