Are you a cycling fanatic? Then you can't miss this bike tour around San Lorenzo. You can choose a route through different parts of the natural environment of the province of Salta.

San Lorenzo Bike Tour

When you make your reservation, you can opt for one of the following bike tours. All tours start at the indicated time from Juan Carlos Dávalos street in the centre of San Lorenzo and include an English-speaking guide, bike and helmet rental.

Arteaga Gorge Tour (2 hours)

From the centre of San Lorenzo, we'll go to a water reserve located next to the Las Costas farm. We will cycle through the Arteaga ravine and the surrounding rural area, characterized by crystal clear streams and montane forest.

Timetable: Every day at 10 am and 3 pm.

Potrero Grande Tour (3 hours)

This cycling route goes through Potrero Grande, a protected area surrounded by mountains. We will ride through the Selva Montana and observe various botanical species including laurels and walnut trees, as well as epiphytes such as bromeliads and orchids. We will also see Argentinean horses in native pastures.

Timetable: Every day at 10 am and 3 pm.

Uriburu + Cordillera Oriental Tour (7 hours)

This is the most challenging route, offering stunning views and natural scenery. The tour starts in Uriburu at the foot of the Eastern Cordillera, where we will cycle along the mountain range, the river of Astilleros creek, and climb up to 2200 metres (7218 feet). There is a break for refreshments, so bring a picnic.
