Join us to explore the underground world of San Luis Potosí on this caving route in the La Puente cave.

Caving in La Puente Cave

At 6:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosi and drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the Sierra de Alvarez to start the hiking route.

We'll walk through the holm oak forests of the Sierra de Álvarez, reaching the entrance to the La Puente cave.

Inside the cave, we'll explore for about three hours, observing stalactites and stalagmites formed by the seepage of an underground river.

After the cave, we'll walk to a rancho for a delicious barbecue-style meal. After eating, we will hike around the mountain range.

You will be taken back to your hotel in San Luis Potosi, with the activity concluding at approximately 6:30 pm.
