Join us to explore the underground world of San Luis Potosí on this caving route in the La Puente cave. You'll spend a day exploring below the earth's surface!

Caving in La Puente Cave

At 6:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosi and drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the Sierra de Alvarez, where we'll start the hiking route.

We'll start walking through the holm oak forests of the Sierra de Álvarez until we reach the entrance to the La Puente cave.

We'll enter the cave and will spend about three hours inside La Puente Cave admiring the stalactites and stalagmites formed by the seepage of an underground river.

After exploring the caves, we'll walk to a rancho for a delicious barbecue-style meal. With our appetites full, we'll start a hike around the mountain range.

Finally, you'll be taken back to your hotel in San Luis Potosi, with the activity ending at approximately 6:30 pm.
