Rappelling at the Tamul Waterfall

After picking you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosí at 6:45 am, we'll travel by minibus to the small town of Tanchachín, about four hours away.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a hiking route to the rappelling area, crossing the jungle of the Huasteca Potosina region and admiring the vegetation alongside the Gallinas River.

We'll arrive at the emblematic Tamul waterfall, the largest in San Luis Potosí, standing at 105 meters (344 feet) tall.

After setting up safety equipment and learning basic rules, it'll be time to start rappelling down the waterfall. We'll descend from a side of this natural monument, allowing us to admire the landscape from a privileged point of view.

Expect to be splashed by the waterfall, which adds to the fun and refreshment of the experience. The rappelling will last approximately two hours, followed by a walk back to Tanchachín, where you'll have one hour of free time to eat at a local restaurant.

Afterward, we'll return to the minibus. The activity concludes at 8 pm, dropping you back at your hotel in San Luis Potosí.
