Experience the thrill of descending the renowned Tamul waterfall and take in the breathtaking natural beauty surrounding it. This is a distinctive way to explore the most impressive waterfall in San Luis Potosí!

Rappelling Adventure at Tamul Waterfall

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your San Luis Potosí hotel at 6:45 am, followed by a scenic four-hour drive to the quaint town of Tanchachín.

Upon our arrival, we will embark on a hiking trail leading us to the site where the rappel takes place. This trail will take us through the vibrant jungle of the Huasteca Potosina, allowing us to appreciate the lush flora as we make our way alongside the Gallinas River.

As we progress, the breathtaking Tamul waterfall will reveal itself, towering at 105 meters (344 feet) and recognized as the tallest waterfall in San Luis Potosí.

We'll equip ourselves with safety gear, receive a briefing on essential guidelines, and then it's time to begin the exhilarating descent down the waterfall. This unique opportunity offers a spectacular perspective of the surrounding scenery from one of the best viewpoints.

Will you feel the mist from the waterfall during your descent? Absolutely! It promises to be an exciting and refreshing experience. The entire adventure will take around two hours, after which we will hike back to Tanchachín, where you will enjoy an hour of free time to savor local cuisine at a nearby restaurant.

With rejuvenated enthusiasm, we will hop back onto the minibus. The day's activities will conclude at 8 pm, returning you to your accommodations in San Luis Potosí.
