On this sightseeing tour of San Luis Potosi, we will admire the highlights of this former mining city located on the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a significant historic trail.
San Luis Potosi Sightseeing Tour
At 10 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosi. We will board a minibus for a comfortable tour of the city's main attractions.
The panoramic sightseeing tour will start in the historic center, passing through the four main squares: the Plaza de Fundadores, Plaza del Carmen, Plaza de San Francisco, and Plaza de Armas. In each square, we will learn about the Colonial, Baroque, and Neoclassical buildings.
Next, we will stop at Plaza de Armas to admire the Metropolitan Cathedral, known for its Baroque façade, the Government Palace, and the Palacio Municipal Cultural Center.
The tour will continue to the Sanctuary Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, noted for its Neoclassical architecture. The last stop will be at the Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosi, located in a former prison, which houses the Leonora Carrington Surrealist Sculpture Museum.
The sightseeing tour will conclude at 2 pm with drop-off back at your hotel.
