At 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and start our trip to Santa Maria del Rio, one of the four magical villages in San Luis Potosi. After an hour's drive, we'll arrive in Santa Maria del Rio, known for being the birthplace of the rebozo, a type of shawl. Our first stop will be at a workshop where this traditional garment is crafted, allowing you to learn about its creation using ancient techniques.

Next, we'll visit the Casa del Rebozo, dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and dissemination of this traditional clothing. Its interactive exhibits will illustrate the origin of the rebozo, its making process, weaving techniques, spools of thread, and historical artifacts.

Our final destination will be the Church of the Assumption, a prime example of colonial religious architecture in the town. Originally part of a 17th-century Franciscan convent, it is surrounded by handicraft stores and traditional bakeries.

We will conclude the tour with a drop-off at your hotel at 2.30 pm.
