Villa de Merlo and La Toma Day Trip

At 7:30 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Potrero de los Funes, followed by a trip to La Toma.

In La Toma, we will visit the museum and workshop dedicated to onyx marble crafts, where traditional manual techniques are demonstrated.

The excursion will continue through the Conlara Valley to Villa de Merlo. Here, we will explore the Rincón and Rincón del Este neighborhoods, notable for views of the Mogote Bayo Provincial Nature Reserve.

The tour will proceed to the Dos Venados Casino, featuring a unique sundial at the entrance. Next, we will visit the Piedra Blanca sites, birthplace of poet Antonio Esteban Agüero, where we will see the "algarrobo abuelo", the oldest carob tree in the province.

After learning about the history of this tree, we will return to the historic center of Villa de Merlo for one hour of free time for lunch. We will return to your hotel in Potrero de los Funes at 4:30 pm.
