Admire breathtaking views of San Martín de los Andes and Lácar Lake on our hiking route to the Bandurrias Viewpoint. We'll look out at beautiful scenery during this unforgettable experience.

Bandurrias Viewpoint Hiking Activity

At 9 am, we'll meet on the beach of Lácar Lake next to the deer sculptures. From this point in San Martín de los Andes, we'll embark on a hike to the Bandurrias Viewpoint.

On our 3-mile (5-kilometre), low-difficulty hike, you'll learn about the biodiversity of the Patagonian Andean forests, home to species such as Dombey's beech and monkey puzzle trees. You'll also observe large birds like condors and giant woodpeckers.

We'll stop at various points along the way at an altitude of 2,620 feet (800 metres), providing views of the summit of Abanico and nearby Andes Mountains. Our route culminates at the Bandurrias Viewpoint, offering excellent views of Lácar Lake.

Upon reaching the viewpoint, we'll enjoy panoramic views of this once glacial lake and its stunning Andean surroundings. After taking a group photo, we'll return to the starting point.

We expect to arrive back at the meeting point by 12 noon.
