Day Trip to Villa La Angostura & Villa Traful

We'll pick you up at your San Martin de los Andes hotel at 8:30 am and depart for National Route 234. The 90-minute drive encompasses 115 kilometers (71.5 miles) through forest and rivers along the Seven Lakes Road, passing by Lakes Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, and Nahuel Huapi.

At noon, we'll arrive at Villa La Angostura, where we will walk along the port and visit the El Messidor Residence, a French-style castle. You will have free time for lunch before returning to Seven Lakes Road.

On the return, we'll pass by Espejo and Correntoso lakes and take a detour to Villa Traful. We'll explore this mountain village and its coihue forest.

Finally, we'll visit the Mirador del Viento, a 70-meter-high (225-foot) cliff offering panoramic views of the Patagonian landscape. We will return to San Martin de los Andes at 7 pm and assist you back to your accommodation.
