Join us for a journey from San Martin de los Andes to discover two picturesque towns of Argentine Patagonia. We'll explore a castle, enjoy stunning views from a viewpoint, and ride along the famous Seven Lakes Road!

Day Trip to Villa La Angostura & Villa Traful

Pickup at your San Martin de los Andes hotel is at 8:30 am. We will depart for National Route 234 with a 90-minute drive covering 115 kilometers (71.5 miles) of forest and rivers along the Seven Lakes Road, passing Lakes Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, and Nahuel Huapi.

At noon, we will reach Villa La Angostura to walk along the port and visit the El Messidor Residence, a French-style castle. Lunch is free time before continuing back on Seven Lakes Road.

On our return, we will again pass by Espejo and Correntoso lakes and detour to Villa Traful to explore this traditional mountain village and a coihue forest.

Finally, we will visit the Mirador del Viento, a 70-meter-high (225-foot) cliff offering panoramic views of the Patagonian landscape. We will return to San Martin de los Andes by 7 pm and drop you off at your accommodation.
