South face hike (10 hours)
This route includes a 10-hour trekking experience of medium difficulty, departing from San Martín de los Andes to Puerto Canoa on Lake Huechulafquen. The trek begins with a forest crossing, followed by traversing minor slopes towards the southern slope of the Lanín Volcano. We will see the Ruca Leufú stream and get views of the glacier at the southern face. A break is provided for meals before returning.

North face hike (8 hours)
This high difficulty trek lasts 8 hours, starting in the Turbio River area of the Lanín National Park at an altitude of 1100 metres (3608 feet). We will explore a lenga forest and continue to a clearing that reveals the volcano. The ascent leads to the Espina de Pescado and culminates at the BIM 26 mountain refuge located at 2,300 metres (7545 feet). Meals can be enjoyed with views of the Lanín Volcano and Lake Tromen before heading back.
