Embark on a cross-border adventure from Argentina to Chile and discover the breathtaking beauty of Pucon.

Private Day Trip to Pucon

The journey begins with a pickup at your hotel in downtown San Martin de los Andes at 7:30 am. We will travel along National Route 234, passing through Junín de los Andes. After 40 minutes, we will cross an araucaria forest near the Malleo River and reach the border crossing at Paso Tromen, where you can view the Lanín Volcano's north face. Continuing into the Chilean jungle, we'll visit Curarrehue village, home of the Mapuches.

Next, we will drive 70 km (43 miles) along the Trancura River to arrive at Pucon, located where the jungle meets the lakes. You will have two hours of free time to explore the beaches of Pucón and sample local seafood. Optionally, you can swim in the warm waters of Pucón or visit Villarrica Lake.

We will return to San Martin de los Andes at 8 pm and drop you off at your accommodation.

Required documentation

To cross from Argentina to Chile, a valid passport is required. For children under 18, a birth certificate must be presented. If a minor travels with one parent, authorization from the absent adult is needed. If accompanied by non-parents, signed authorization from both guardians is required.
