Embark on a cross-border adventure from Argentina to Chile to discover the beauty of Pucon, a city where lush forests meet shimmering lakes.

Private Day Trip to Pucon

The journey begins with a pickup at your hotel in downtown San Martin de los Andes at 7:30 am. We will travel along National Route 234, passing the village of Junín de los Andes. After 40 minutes, we will cross an araucaria forest by the Malleo River and reach the border crossing, Paso Tromen. Enjoy views of the Lanín Volcano's north face as we enter the Chilean jungle to visit Curarrehue village, home of the Mapuches.

Next, a 70-km (43-mile) drive along the Trancura River will take us to Pucon. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by Lake Villarrica and the Villarrica Volcano. You will have two hours of free time to explore the beaches of Pucon and sample traditional food, including seafood. Enjoy a swim in the warm waters of Pucon or explore Villarrica Lake.

The return to San Martin de los Andes will occur at 8 pm, concluding the day trip with a drop-off at your accommodation.
