Embark on a cross-border adventure from Argentina to Chile and discover the breathtaking beauty of Pucon, where lush forests meet shimmering lakes.

Private Day Trip to Pucon

The journey begins with pickup at your hotel in downtown San Martin de los Andes at 7:30 am, proceeding along National Route 234 and passing through Junín de los Andes. After a 40-minute drive, we will cross an araucaria forest along the Malleo River and reach the border crossing, Paso Tromen, with views of the Lanín Volcano's north face. We will enter the Chilean jungle to visit Curarrehue village, home of the Mapuches.

Next, a 70-km (43-mile) drive along the Trancura River will take us to Pucon, where the jungle meets the lakes. Upon arrival, enjoy Lake Villarrica and Villarrica Volcano.

You will have two hours of free time to explore the beaches of Pucón and sample traditional food, particularly seafood. Optionally, take a dip in the warm waters or visit Villarrica Lake.

After the visit, we will return to San Martin de los Andes by 8 pm, concluding the day trip with drop-off at your accommodation.
