Discover the natural surroundings of San Miguel de Allende on this hiking route through the Coyote Canyon in the Cañada de la Virgen and go abseiling in a unique environment.

Coyote Canyon Hiking Tour

We'll meet in the center of San Miguel de Allende and head towards the Cañada de la Virgen to start a guided hiking tour through Coyote Canyon. The route lasts about two hours, during which you will explore the ranches, meadows, canyons, and rivers of the area, guided by an expert in local history. You will observe the landscape and an important archaeological site.

After the hike, you will enjoy a typical ranchera meal, which includes fresh cheese, beans, quesadillas, nopales or guacamole, and salads, among other typical dishes of San Miguel de Allende.

With this good taste in our mouths, we'll return to the city to finish the excursion.

Hiking Route + Abseiling

For those interested in enhancing their experience, there is an option to practice abseiling in the canyon. This technique allows for a descent of 50 meters (164 feet) with the assistance of an expert guide, offering a chance to challenge yourself in this remarkable location.
