Coyote Canyon Hiking Tour

We'll meet in the centre of San Miguel de Allende and head towards the Cañada de la Virgen. Here we'll start a guided hiking tour through the Coyote Canyon, located west of San Miguel de Allende.

During our route, which lasts about two hours, we'll explore the ranches, meadows, canyons and rivers of the surrounding area, led by a guide specialised in the history of the region. Along the route, you’ll contemplate the landscape of the canyon, which features an important archaeological site.

To regain your strength, at the end of the route you'll enjoy a typical ranchera meal, including fresh cheese, beans, quesadillas, nopales or guacamole and salads, among other typical dishes of San Miguel de Allende.

With this good taste in our mouths, we'll return to the city to finish the excursion.

Hiking Route + Abseiling

If you want to enhance your experience, you can practice abseiling in the canyon after the hiking route. This technique allows you to descend from a height of 50 metres (164 feet) under the guidance of an expert.
