On this guided tour of San Miguel de Allende, we'll tour one of the most charming cities in Guanajuato and uncover significant landmarks and colorful streets.
Tour Details
Meet us on the corner of Canal con Hidalgo Street to start at the San Miguel Arcángel Parrish, an emblematic monument and a symbol of the city. We'll learn about its history and the European architectural style designed by Zeferino Gutierrez.
Our next stop will be the former captain Ignacio Allende's home, where we will explore the city's viceroyalty history. We will also visit the Temple of Pure Conception and its former cloister, now the Ignacio Ramirez "El Nigromante" Cultural Center.
San Miguel de Allende was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. We will delve into this heritage, exploring the Indigenous villages of the region and the origins of their names.
Along the route, we will also visit the Main Square in San Miguel de Allende.
After an immersive 2 hours, we’ll conclude our tour at the Casa de las Conspiraciones.
Additional Info
Please note that on Mondays and public holidays, some of the sites will be closed. We will, however, pass by the sites and provide their historical context.
