On this guided tour of San Miguel de Allende, we'll explore one of the most charming cities in Guanajuato, uncovering significant landmarks and colorful streets.
Tour Details
Meet us at the corner of Canal con Hidalgo Street as we proceed to the iconic San Miguel Arcángel Parish, a notable church in the city. We'll discuss the history of this European-style structure designed by architect Zeferino Gutierrez, a key figure in architectural history.
Next, we will visit the former home of captain Ignacio Allende and delve into the city's viceroyalty. The tour will also include the Temple of Pure Conception and its former cloister, currently the Ignacio Ramirez "El Nigromante" Cultural Center.
San Miguel de Allende was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. We will explore the historical connections as we reveal the Indigenous villages of the region and their origins along the route.
Additionally, we will stop by the Main Square in San Miguel de Allende. After an engaging 2-hour experience, we'll conclude our tour at the Casa de las Conspiraciones.
