Embark on a guided exploration of San Miguel de Allende, a gem of Guanajuato that invites you to discover its key landmarks and vibrant streets!

Tour Overview

We will commence our journey at the junction of Canal and Hidalgo Streets, proceeding toward one of the city’s most iconic monuments, the San Miguel Arcángel Parish. This city is celebrated for its beauty, and this remarkable church is a testament to that charm.

As we delve into the history of this architectural symbol, you will learn about the monumental structure designed in a European style by the renowned architect Zeferino Gutierrez. Who was he and what impact did he leave behind? These questions will be addressed as our tour unfolds.

Continuing our guided exploration of San Miguel de Allende, we will stop by the former residence of Captain Ignacio Allende for a deeper understanding of the city's colonial history. We will also explore the Temple of Pure Conception and its adjacent cloister, which now houses the Ignacio Ramirez "El Nigromante" Cultural Center.

Interesting fact: San Miguel de Allende was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. We will uncover the unique connections during our venture through this magnificent city. Throughout our excursion, we will travel back in time to learn about the Indigenous communities, their origins, and the stories woven into their names.

As we navigate the city, a visit to the Main Square in San Miguel de Allende is also on the agenda.

After an engaging two hours, our tour will conclude at the Casa de las Conspiraciones.
