Tour Itinerary: Explore Catamarca

We will pick you up from your hotel in Tucumán and head south to San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca.

The tour begins in this picturesque city, located near the Nevados del Aconquija. Our first stop will be at 25 de Mayo Square, where the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Valley can be admired.

Next, we will pass by the San Francisco Church and visit the Mercado Artesanal, where you can sample typical Catamarca sweets. You will have one hour to enjoy lunch near the market.

After lunch, we will explore a carpet factory on the outskirts of Catamarca. Our next destination will be the Gruta de la Virgen del Valle, renowned for one of the province's most famous carvings, along with its intricate history.

Finally, we will visit the Monumento a la Zamba del Portezuelo, offering panoramic views of the region. After taking in the scenery, we will begin our return journey, stopping in Aguilares to learn more about this area's history.

The excursion concludes with your drop-off at your hotel in Tucumán, approximately 10 hours after pickup.
