Tour Itinerary: Explore Catamarca

We will pick you up from your hotel in Tucumán at the scheduled time and head south toward San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca.

The Catamarca tour begins upon reaching this picturesque city near the Nevados del Aconquija. Our first stop will be at 25 de Mayo Square, where you can admire the façade of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Valley.

Next, we will pass the San Francisco Church and visit the Mercado Artesanal to sample typical Catamarca sweets. You will have an hour to enjoy lunch near the market.

After lunch, we will visit a carpet factory on the outskirts of Catamarca. From there, we will proceed to the Gruta de la Virgen del Valle, home to a well-known carving, followed by an exploration of its history.

Our final stop will be the Monumento a la Zamba del Portezuelo, offering views of the surroundings. After taking in the scenery, we will start our return journey, stopping in the town of Aguilares to learn more about the area's history.
