Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán and head southwards.
We'll start by passing through the landscapes of the Yunga jungles and the Los Sosa Gorge. A brief stop in El Mollar will include a visit to Los Menhires Archaeological Reserve to learn about its iconic stone stelae.
Next, we'll continue to Tafí del Valle, a key destination in Tucumán. Here, we'll participate in a ceramics workshop focusing on the characteristic pieces from the native cultures of the Calchaquí Valleys.
After the workshop, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch in the center of Tafí del Valle. Following lunch, we'll gather for another workshop, this time focusing on fabrics, where we'll learn about the dyeing, spinning, and weaving processes.
Our return journey will include a short stop at the Tambo La Sofía Cheese Factory, where we'll observe the production process and enjoy views of Tafí del Valle from their viewpoint.
We'll return to the hotels in San Miguel de Tucumán after around 9 hours together.
