Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán for a day trip to the Aconquija National Park. We'll pass through sugar cane, lemon, and blueberry plantations typical of the region.

In Aconquija National Park, we'll admire the lush vegetation of the Yungas Forest. Our first stop will be at the Samay Cochuna camping site, followed by the La Banderita lookout, offering views of the forest and the Nevados del Aconquija for stunning photographs.

After 3.5 hours from pickup, we'll reach the Valle de Las Estancias, which features diverse mountain landscapes and towns. Here, we'll take a short break before beginning our trek along the Camino del Inca Argentino.

After 40 minutes of hiking, we'll arrive at the Inca site of Pucará del Aconquija to explore its kallankas, kolcas, walls, and defensive towers. A lunch break outdoors will be provided, including a sandwich and piece of fruit.

Following our 2-kilometer hike to a maximum altitude of 7217 feet (2200 m), we'll return to San Miguel de Tucumán and drop you off at your hotel approximately 12 hours after pickup.
