San Pedro de Colalao Day Trip
After hotel pickup in San Miguel de Tucumán, we'll head north to the Celestino Gelsi Dam? (El Cadillal). Nearby is the Archaeological Museum of El Cadillal (MAC), where you will see a variety of ancient vessels, mortars, arrowheads, and tools from the Candelaria people who lived in this region between the 3rd and 7th centuries AD.
The tour proceeds to the village of Trancas, notable for its role in the independence of Argentina. Continuing north, we arrive at San Pedro de Colalao, a significant tourist municipality in northern Argentina.
During the tour, we will also visit the Grotto of Lourdes, a replica of the famous cave in France, and learn about its significance. After the cave visit, you will have free time to enjoy local gastronomy. The return to your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán is scheduled for 8 hours after departure.
