Tafi del Valle, Cafayate and Quilmes Trip

Pickup will be at your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán at 7:30 am. The tour begins with a visit to the ruins of San José de Lules, where we will explore locations evangelized by the Lules Indians.

The journey continues to the Los Menhires archaeological reserve, home to over 50 megaliths. Next, we will arrive at Tafi del Valle, located between the Calchaqui valley and Chacopampa plain.

Free time will be given for lunch or to explore the streets and visit the 18th century Conjunto Jesuítico de La Banda. We will then ascend the Cumbres Calchaquíes, part of the Andes, leading to the ruins of Quilmes, where the resistance of the Calchaqui Indians against Spanish conquerors is discussed.

An hour's drive will take us to Cafayate, known for its vineyards. We will explore the historic center and visit a winery for a wine tasting, focusing on the Torrontés grape.

At 4 pm, we will depart Cafayate and return to San Miguel de Tucumán, concluding the experience.
