Tafi del Valle and Quilmes Ruins Tour
After hotel pickup, we will begin our tour to Tafí del Valle and the Quilmes Ruins. We will also visit a family winery to taste Argentinian wine.
The journey continues along the Quebrada de Los Sosa river to El Mollar, featuring more than 50 megalithic sculptures surrounded by intriguing theories about their origins and meanings.
Next, we will travel to Tafí del Valle, where you will have free time to explore the area and appreciate the natural environment, including the mountain backdrops suitable for photographs.
We'll then proceed to El Infiernillo, the entry point to the Calchaquí Valley, known for its natural beauty.
The tour continues to the Sacred City of Quilmes, where we will meet the Quilmes indigenous community and visit the Quilmes Ruins, one of the largest pre-Columbian settlements in Argentina. Here, you'll learn about the customs and legacy of the Quilmes Indians.
After visiting the ruins, we will head to Amaicha del Valle for a meal.
After lunch, we will visit an indigenous winery in Amaicha del Valle, where a family member will explain the wine production process, and you will have the opportunity to taste a glass.
