Discover the amazing landscapes of Tafí del Valle and visit the fascinating Quilmes archaeological site, as well as a trip to an authentic winery.

Tafi del Valle and Quilmes Ruins Tour

After hotel pickup, we will start our tour to Tafí del Valle and the Quilmes Ruins. We will also visit a family winery and taste Argentinian wine.

Our journey continues along the Quebrada de Los Sosa river to El Mollar, which features more than 50 megalithic sculptures. You will hear theories about their origin and meaning.

Next, we will travel to Tafí del Valle, a small town with free time to explore. We recommend enjoying the natural environment surrounded by large mountains, perfect for photographs.

We will continue to El Infiernillo, an entry point to the Calchaquí Valley, known for its spectacular natural site.

From there, we’ll head to the Sacred City of Quilmes to meet the Quilmes indigenous community and visit the Quilmes Ruins, one of the most extensive pre-Columbian settlements in Argentina. Learn about the Quilmes Indians, their customs, traditions, and legacy.

After visiting the Quilmes ruins, we will travel to Amaicha del Valle for lunch. After eating, we will visit an indigenous winery where Veronica will explain the wine production process and you will have the chance to try a glass.

After 11.5 hours, we will return by bus to your hotel.
