Tafi del Valle and Quilmes Ruins Tour
This tour begins with a hotel pickup, followed by a journey to Tafí del Valle and the Quilmes Ruins. A visit to a family winery is included, where you can taste Argentinian wine.
The route follows the Quebrada de Los Sosa river, reaching El Mollar, known for over 50 megalithic sculptures with enigmatic origins. You will learn about various theories regarding these structures.
Next, the tour continues to Tafí del Valle, a small town where you will have free time to explore the natural environment and take photographs of the surrounding mountains.
From Tafí del Valle, we proceed to El Infiernillo, the entry point to the Calchaquí Valley, a notable natural site.
Then, we will visit the Sacred City of Quilmes, home to the Quilmes indigenous community. You will explore one of Argentina's largest pre-Columbian settlements, the Quilmes Ruins, learning about the customs and traditions of the Quilmes Indians.
After visiting the ruins, the tour heads to Amaicha del Valle for lunch. Post-lunch, you will visit an indigenous winery where Veronica will explain the wine production process, allowing you to sample a glass.
After approximately 11.5 hours, the bus returns you to your hotel.
