The rolling hills of San Javier and the imposing ravines of Villa Nougués set the stage for our Yungas (Andean valley) of Tucumán day trip.
Description
Our adventure begins with a scheduled pickup from your hotel in San Miguel. We will head to the Yungas of Tucumán, the Andean jungles in northwestern Argentina.
Our first stop will be Villa Nougués, known for its hills and traditional architecture. This town is notable for having a nationally recognized golf club.
Next, we will travel to San Javier, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of San Miguel de Tucumán. We will stop at the base of the 28-meter-high (92-foot) statue of the Blessed Christ.
Our exploration will continue through El Racó and El Siambón, surrounded by dense forests. The final destination is the Celestino Gelsi Dam, where the vivid blue waters contrast with the green mountains.
After experiencing the Yungas, we will return to your hotel, concluding this 6-hour excursion.
