Explore the magnificent La Malinche National Park, get in touch with nature and enjoy breathtaking views on this hike to the top of a volcano.
La Malinche National Park Trek
At 6 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cholula and travel to Tlaxcala to begin our 10-hour hiking route in La Malinche National Park.
After entering the park, we will arrive at a hostel located 3100 metres above sea level, where the hike will commence. We will climb through forests of oyamel, conifers, and pine trees, tackling slopes of up to 45 degrees.
A break will be taken at Los Arenales, where we can rest and admire the views, including a closer look at the summit of La Malinche volcano.
The final stretch involves climbing to 4461 metres, where, weather permitting, we will see the chains of volcanoes: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl.
Finally, we will return to the hostel, board our vehicles, and head back to Cholula, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 7 pm.
