La Malinche National Park Trek
At 6 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cholula and depart to Tlaxcala to La Malinche National Park for a 10-hour hiking route.
We will enter the park and arrive at a hostel located 3100 meters above sea level, where we will begin the hike. We will climb the mountainside through forests of oyamel, conifers, and pine trees, tackling slopes of up to 45 degrees.
We will stop at an area called Los Arenales to rest and enjoy the views. From this point, we will see the summit of La Malinche volcano.
In the final stretch, we will ascend to 4461 meters. If weather permits, we will have the opportunity to view the chain of volcanoes: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl.
Finally, we will return to the hostel, board vehicles, and head back to Cholula. Arrival at your hotel is expected by 7 pm.
