La Malinche National Park Trek
At 6 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cholula and travel to Tlaxcala, heading to La Malinche National Park for a 10-hour hiking route.
Upon arrival, we will start the hike from a hostel located 3100 metres above sea level. We will ascend the mountainside through forests of oyamel, conifers, and pine trees, navigating slopes of up to 45 degrees.
We will take a break at an area called Los Arenales, where we can rest and enjoy the views, including a closer look at the summit of La Malinche volcano.
In the final stretch, we will climb to 4461 metres. Weather permitting, we may see the chain of volcanoes: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl.
Afterward, we will return to the hostel, get into the vehicles, and head back to Cholula, with an estimated arrival at your hotel around 7 pm.
