Experience one of the most magical landscapes of Chile on this day trip to the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, a natural wonder where you can swim without sinking.

Baltinache Lagoons Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and head towards the Cordillera de la Sal, located a few kilometers south of San Pedro de Atacama.

At the foot of these mountains are the Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache, a natural wonder composed of seven saltwater lagoons. In the background, the rugged silhouette of the Callo Salino creates a stunning landscape.

Upon arrival, you'll have free time to admire the area. The high salinity of these pools prevents sinking, a phenomenon found in very few places worldwide.

Afterwards, we will take you to experience a romantic sunset from the Likan-Antay viewpoint.

Finally, we will return you to the central square of San Pedro de Atacama, arriving 5 hours after pickup.

Pickup Info

The trip includes pickup from hotels located within 3.10 miles (5 kilometers) from the center of San Pedro de Atacama. For hotels outside this area, we will pick you up at unit 2, 429B Tocopilla Street.

Due to contamination, bathing in the Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache is prohibited until further notice.
