Puritama Hot Springs Trip

Participants will be collected from their hotel in central San Pedro de Atacama at the chosen time. After approximately 30 minutes of driving south, we will reach a canyon with natural thermal water. The Puritama Hot Springs consist of seven pools of geothermal spring water. Upon arrival, guests will have 3 hours of free time to enjoy the hot springs, which maintain a temperature of up to 33.5ºC (92.3ºF) and are rich in minerals like magnesium, sodium, lithium, and potassium. These baths have been used traditionally for treating rheumatism, arthritis, and muscle fatigue since before the Spanish conquest.

The site features wooden walkways connecting all eight natural pools and facilities, including bathrooms and a café, allowing easy access to enjoy the relaxing properties of the hot springs. The return journey to the central square in San Pedro de Atacama will conclude 4 hours and 30 minutes after departure.
