We will pick you up from your hotel in central San Pedro de Atacama at your selected time and begin our drive south. After approximately 30 minutes, we will arrive at a canyon with a stream of natural thermal water.

The Puritama Hot Springs consist of seven pools of geothermal water formed from this stream, set in a scenic location at the Andes’ foothills. Once there, you will have 3 hours of free time to enjoy the hot springs.

The thermal waters reach up to 33.5ºC (92.3ºF) and contain minerals such as magnesium, sodium, lithium, and potassium. The local population has used these baths forrheumatism, arthritis, and muscle fatigue treatment since before the Spanish conquest.

The site features wooden walkways connecting all eight natural pools and facilities like bathrooms and a cafe, allowing easy access to enjoy the relaxing properties of the springs.

Once you feel rested, we will return to the central square of San Pedro de Atacama, completing the trip in 4 hours and 30 minutes from the departure.

This tour includes pickup from hotels within a radius of 6 miles (10 kilometers) of the centre of San Pedro de Atacama. For hotels outside this area, the meeting point is: unit 2, 429B Tocopilla Street.
