Embark on a journey through Concepción, unearthing the rich history of Biobío's captivating capital. Explore the city's most significant landmarks, including the art gallery of the local university and the Monitor Huáscar ship.

Description

At the time you select, we will pick you up from your Concepción hotel to set off towards key attractions in this striking city, known as the capital of the Biobío region in Chile.

Our first destination is the Plaza de la Independencia, site of the inaugural signing for the emancipation of Chile. From there, we will head to Ecuador Park to explore the History Gallery, where various dioramas depict pivotal moments that have shaped Concepción's narrative.

Next, we will visit the University of Concepción's art gallery, showcasing a remarkable collection of pieces by Latin American artists. Among the stunning artwork, we will come across the magnificent mural located in the Art House, created by renowned Mexican artist Jorge González Camarena, known for its vibrant color palette.

After four enriching hours, we will conclude the tour and return to your hotel in Concepción.

Changes to the Itinerary on Saturday and Sunday

On Saturdays and Sundays, we will maintain the same itinerary outlined above, with the exception of the visit to the University's art gallery. Instead, we will dedicate additional time to savor the panoramic vistas of the bay.
