On this excursion from Concepción, we'll travel to the Chilean region of Ñuble to visit Ninhue and Buchupureo.

Ninhue & Buchupureo Excursion

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Concepción for a drive to the Chilean region of Ñuble.

We will make a brief stop in Coelemu before arriving in Ninhue. Here, we will visit San Agustín de Puñual, which houses the Cuna de Prat museum. This site commemorates naval hero Arturo Prat Chacón and features an exhibition on the gold rush era.

After the museum visit, we will head to the center of Ninhue to explore its handicraft fair, known for local chupallas, traditional straw hats.

Next, we will proceed to Buchupureo, where you will have an hour free for lunch at a restaurant with ocean views. Post lunch, we will visit local papaya plantations.

During the tour, we will also walk along the coast of Buchupureo to see the rock church, a significant rock formation facing the Pacific Ocean.

Finally, we will visit the colony of sea lions on the beach of Cobquecura before returning to your hotel in Concepción by 10:30 pm.
