Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido and drive north for 1.5 hours to the dock at El Zapotalito, where our aquatic travels begin.

We'll board a speedboat with a roof and comfortable seating to explore the area's lagoons. During the 1.5-hour journey, we will navigate through mangrove tunnels and small islands while discussing the fauna and flora in this ecosystem, including migratory birds, river crocodiles, and various mangrove species.

Upon arrival at Chacahua Bay, you will have 3.5 hours of free time to swim, relax, or explore. You may also choose to enjoy local cuisine at seafront restaurants, such as the thinly sliced fish.

We will return by speedboat to El Zapotalito, taking in the lagoon's natural beauty once more, before heading back to Puerto Escondido. Our total journey will last approximately 9 hours, concluding at your accommodation.
