Details of the Excursion

At the scheduled hour, we will collect you from your accommodation in Puerto Escondido, setting off toward Oaxaca. Prepare to immerse yourself in the vibrancy of this remarkable city!

After a journey of approximately two and a half hours, we will arrive at the Benito Juárez Market where you can indulge in a traditional Oaxacan breakfast. This will be a feast for your senses, bursting with enticing aromas and rich flavors!

Subsequently, we will stroll through the picturesque cobblestone streets of Oaxaca, heading towards the Tourist Walkway. Here, you will marvel at the stunning architecture of the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán and explore the city's historical center filled with museums, art galleries, and artisan shops.

Before departing Oaxaca, you will have an hour to enjoy lunch. After this, our adventure continues to the famed Tree of Tule, a 2,000-year-old natural wonder weighing 650 tons that is truly awe-inspiring. Did you know this tree is one of the oldest and largest in the world?

Next, we will proceed to San Martín Tilcajete, famous for its stunning artisan crafts, including vibrant carvings made from copal wood, known as alebrijes. Unleash your artistic side as you paint your own alebrije during a workshop dedicated to this craft!

Before we make our way back to Puerto Escondido, there will be a stop in a mezcal-producing town. Prepare to delve into the mezcal production process as we stroll through agave fields and visit a distillery. The highlight of your experience will be a delightful mezcal tasting!

After a total duration of 15 hours, we will return you to your hotel, bringing this memorable day to a close.
