Laguna de Manialtepec Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour through the Laguna de Manialtepec, we'll paddle along its canals and discover Oaxaca's fascinating flora and fauna.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Escondido and head to the village of Las Negras, located on the shores of the Laguna de Manialtepec. After a 20-minute drive, we'll reach the starting point of our route. An instructor will provide kayaking tips before we begin.

We'll board a speedboat to the starting point of the kayak tour. Once there, we'll paddle through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary, guided through canals amidst dense vegetation.

The tour includes a visit to Carnero, where you can observe numerous migratory birds, including American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibis, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons. After reaching Puerto Suelo beach, we'll have time to relax and enjoy the scenery.

We'll return to the starting point and then back to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, concluding 6 hours of activity.
