Laguna de Manialtepec Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour through the Laguna de Manialtepec, we'll paddle along its canals and discover Oaxaca's flora and fauna. The ideal way to combine sport and tourism.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Escondido and head to the village of Las Negras, located on the shores of the Laguna de Manialtepec. After a 20-minute drive, we'll arrive at the starting point.

We'll listen to the instructor's guidance, who will provide tips for kayaking before starting the activity.

A speedboat will take us to the kayak tour starting point. We will paddle through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary, guided through the canals and dense vegetation.

The tour includes a visit to Carnero, a site where various migratory birds such as American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibis, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons nest. At Puerto Suelo beach, we can relax and enjoy the view.

After the tour, we will return to the starting point and then to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, concluding the experience after 6 hours of activity.
