Laguna de Manialtepec Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour through the Laguna de Manialtepec, we'll paddle along its canals and discover Oaxaca's flora and fauna.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Escondido and drive to the village of Las Negras, located on the shores of the Laguna de Manialtepec. After a 20-minute drive, we'll arrive at the starting point of our route. The instructor will provide kayaking tips before we begin.

We'll board a speedboat to the kayak tour starting point. From there, we'll paddle through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary, guided through the canals and showcasing the area's vegetation.

The tour includes a stop at Carnero, known for numerous migratory birds like American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibis, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons. Upon reaching Puerto Suelo beach, we'll have time to relax and enjoy the scenery.

After approximately 6 hours of activity, we'll return to the starting point and head back to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, concluding the tour.
