Laguna de Manialtepec Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour through the Laguna de Manialtepec, we'll paddle along its canals and discover Oaxaca's flora and fauna.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Escondido and head for the village of Las Negras, on the shores of the Laguna de Manialtepec. After a 20-minute drive, we'll reach the starting point of our route. An instructor will provide tips for kayaking before we get started.

We'll board a speedboat to the starting point of the kayak tour. From there, we'll paddle through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary. We'll follow the guide through the canals and enjoy the area's dense vegetation.

The tour includes a visit to Carnero, where migratory birds such as American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibis, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons nest. We will also stop at Puerto Suelo beach to relax and admire the landscape.

After the tour, we'll return to the starting point and then to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, concluding 6 hours of activity.
