Description

We'll begin the experience by picking you up from your accommodation in Puerto Escondido at the scheduled time and set off towards the Las Negras village, located by the Laguna de Manialtepec. Are you ready for a kayaking adventure? Let's get started!

After a short drive of about 20 minutes, we'll arrive at the launch site for our journey. Here, our instructor will provide essential kayaking tips and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience!

Next, we'll board a boat that transfers us to the kayak launch area. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on our paddling journey through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary. Following our guide, we will glide through the canals, taking in the lush vegetation that surrounds us.

Our route will lead us to Carnero, a prime spot for observing various migratory birds including American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibises, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons. Furthermore, we’ll have a chance to unwind at Puerto Suelo beach, where we can soak in the breathtaking scenery.

Eventually, we will paddle back to the starting location, from where we’ll return you to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, concluding our 6-hour experience with fond farewells.
