Night Tour of the Manialtepec Lagoon

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido at approximately 7:30 pm and proceed to the Manialtepec Lagoon. After an hour and a half, as the last rays of sunlight fade, you will discover this remarkable natural phenomenon.

The lagoon is renowned for its spectacular bioluminescence, where microorganisms in the lake emit light with any movement. You have the opportunity to swim in the water, causing these organisms to glow upon contact with your body, creating the illusion that you are producing the light.

After disembarking from the boat, you will spend over an hour in this enchanting environment, relaxing and enjoying the sounds of nature. It is designed to provide a calming experience for both body and mind.

We will then return to the hotels in Puerto Escondido, with an expected arrival around 10 pm.
