Enjoy a unique experience, participating in the release of recently hatched turtles on Colotepec Beach, near Puerto Escondido.

Turtle Release Experience

The tour includes a pickup and a journey to Colotepec, 25 minutes from Puerto Escondido, passing through areas of papaya and banana plantations. Participants will visit the turtle protection centre, dedicated to the conservation of four endangered turtle species: Leatherback, Olive Ridley, Galápagos Green, and Hawksbill. Attendees will learn about the centre's efforts and assist in releasing newly hatched turtles into the sea. The day concludes with a sunset at Colotepec Beach, followed by a return to Puerto Escondido hotels.
