This adventure to Villa Rica leads you to the coffee hub of the Pasco region. Along the way, you'll uncover remarkable natural sights, including the beautiful Lion waterfall and the serene El Oconal lagoon, making it an ideal excursion while in San Ramon.

Tour of Villa Rica

Your experience begins at 8:30 am with a hotel pickup in San Ramón, followed by our journey towards Villa Rica, recognized as the coffee capital of Pasco. An interesting fact: its premium green coffee beans hold a protected designation of origin.

After a scenic drive of just over an hour, we will arrive at the Paucatambo bridge, where the regions of Junín and Pasco converge. Our first stop will be at the Lion waterfall, accessible via a brief ten-minute walk. Once there, feel free to take a refreshing dip!

Our next destination is the historic center of Villa Rica, where a stroll through the main square awaits. Be sure to capture a photo beside the iconic monument shaped like a coffee pot located at the square's heart!

Following this, we’ll head to a local café to savor a warm cup of Villa Rica coffee. You will have leisure time for lunch, during which you can indulge in the local gastronomy. Refreshed, we’ll then continue our journey to the El Oconal lagoon.

This location offers stunning views and showcases the rich biodiversity of the reserve. To cap off our tour, you can enjoy a relaxing fish pedicure, commonly known as ichthyotherapy, which utilizes fish like Garra rufa to aid in various skin treatments. A delightful conclusion to your day!

The excursion wraps up with our return to San Ramon, where we will drop you off at your hotel by approximately 6:30 pm.
