At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and begin our private tour. During this two-hour tour, we'll explore the archaeological site where the remains of this governor of ancient Peru were discovered, currently housed in the Site Museum. This museum recreates the burial chambers of Mochica elite figures, including the Lord Warrior, the Warrior Priest, and the Noble Warrior.

We will also discuss why Huaca Rajada is seen as the most significant ceremonial site of the Mochica culture in northern Peru. Following our museum visit, we’ll explore the two adobe platforms of the pyramid and view its altars, learning about their various uses, with the tallest platform reaching 35 meters high.

Next, we’ll visit a mausoleum that originally had 6 levels, admiring the cemetery layout and the positions held by each noble member.

After this informative tour of pre-colonial culture, we’ll conclude at the museum entrance.
