Walk into the Braganza house, the family you will spend time … what unfolds will enchant you…. every stone will spell history and tells a separate story of its colonial past. The Palace was built in 1500 by the wealthy Braganza family.

After being acquainted with the palace you will drive to the most picturesque taluka Quepem, which the Portuguese conquered in the 17th Century. Visit the Palacio do Deao, which is a two-century year old mansion. It was built by a Portuguese nobleman who was the Dean of the church and the founder of Quepem town. It is built in an unusual style of architecture, blending Hindu and Portuguese culture. Its lush gardens are also outstanding, more so due to the fact that their historical features have been preserved and since old times, have been known as the most beautiful pleasure gardens in Goa.

Enjoy a delicious Goan meal cooked by the family in the unique atmosphere. Drive to Margao and explore the colorful city market. Buy souvenirs or just click pictures and get an idea of what India is all about before you drive back to the Hotel.
