The Pampa Train in Sant'Ana do Livramento offers a charming experience. It operates two wagons named Cabernet and Tannat, honoring local grape varieties. The train travels 12 miles (20 kilometers) through the Campanha Caúcha region, accommodating 100 passengers with comfortable seating and scenic views.

Activity Itinerary

The itinerary allows you to choose the order of the Pampa Train ride and the Almadén Winery tour. The meeting point for both options is the Sant'Ana do Livramento Train Station:

Pampa Train ride first: Board the train at the station and disembark at Palomas Train Station. Transfer to Almadén Winery by bus, then return to the station by bus after the visit.Almadén Winery tour first: Depart from the station to Almadén Winery via minibus or bus. After the tour, continue to Palomas Train Station, then board the Pampa Train back to the meeting point.

Train Ride

Experience stunning views during the 12-mile journey, featuring traditional gaucho musical performances. Enjoy tastings of red wine, white wine, and must (young wine) from your seat at tables equipped with glass holders.

Tour of the Almadén Winery

Almadén Winery, located in Campanha Gaúcha near the Uruguay border, invites guests to explore vineyards, a scenic balcony, and an interactive museum showcasing its history. The tour includes insights into the wine-making process and a tasting. The winery also features a canteen and a store for purchasing wines and souvenirs.
