The Pampa Train in Sant'Ana do Livramento

The Pampa Train is a new attraction in Sant'Ana do Livramento. The train has two wagons, Cabernet and Tannat, honoring local grape varieties and travels 12 miles (20 kilometers) through the Campanha Caúcha countryside. It accommodates 100 passengers with comfortable seating and views of the landscape.

Activity Itinerary

Depending on your selected time, you may choose to experience the Pampa Train ride first or tour Almadén Winery. Both options meet at the Sant'Ana do Livramento Train Station:

Starting with the Pampa Train ride: Meet at the station, ride to Palomas Train Station, then travel by bus to Almadén Winery. After the visit, return by bus.Starting with the Almadén Winery tour: Meet at the station, take a minibus to the winery, then catch the Pampa Train back to the meeting point after the tour.

Train Ride

Board the Pampa Train for the 12-mile (20-kilometer) journey featuring traditional musical performances by gauchos. Enjoy a tasting of red wine, white wine, and must while seated at tables with glass holders.

Tour of the Almadén Winery

Almadén Winery, located in Campanha Gaúcha near the Uruguay border, offers a chance to explore vineyards, enjoy a scenic balcony, and visit an interactive museum. Learn about the wine-making process and partake in a tasting. The winery also features a canteen and store for purchasing wines and souvenirs.
