The BIBO PARK Ibiza Biotechnological Botanical is a key conservation park in the Balearic Islands. This guided tour explores unique plant species and biotechnological advances in environmental care.

Tour Details

BIBO PARK is dedicated to vegetation conservation and biotechnological research and houses over 25,000 plants of 160 different species. It features the world's first plant piano.

The tour begins at the photobioreactor enabling microalgae growth, comprised of 200 meters of transparent tubes with a volume of 1200 liters of water. These microalgae, used as fertilizer, significantly contribute to atmospheric cleaning.

Participants will observe endemic and extinct species, with some specimens remaining in the garden that do not grow anywhere else. A replica of a typical Mediterranean salt cellar built with 100-year-old stakes will also be viewed.

The next stop showcases the park's atmospheric water generators, offering pure water free from chlorine, fluorine, toxins, bacteria, viruses, and parasites.

Next to the bee hives and BIBO PARK's lake, participants will experience the Plato's Corner area, concluding the tour with the plant piano, which creates light and sound. The guided tour lasts one hour.

After the tour, visitors can independently explore the bonsai collection at the Pitiusas along with aromatic and medicinal plants.
