Fangar Bay Tour

In this tour around Fangar Bay, we will explore the notable locations in the north of the mouth of the Ebro, including rice fields, mussel beds, and picturesque fishing ports.

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja Pier. We will board a minibus that will take us through Fangar Bay, located in the Natural Park of the Ebro Delta.

We will proceed to the fishing port of Illa de Mar, where we will stop to enjoy panoramic views of the green filter lagoon, the village of l'Ampolla, mussel farms, and the lighthouse of the Fangar peninsula.

We will explore the port to see traditional boats and learn about mussel and oyster cultivation. Additionally, we will use binoculars to spot native birds, including the elegant flamingos.

Next, we will visit the point where the Ebro flows into the Mediterranean Sea, an area known for its natural and scenic wealth.

We will then ascend to the Zigurat viewpoint for expansive views of the island of San Antonio, the Garxal lagoon, the island of Buda, and the rice fields. This will be an opportunity for great photographs.

After a three-hour tour of Fangar Bay, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
