Fangar Bay Tour

In this tour around the bay of Fangar, we will explore characteristic places of the north of the mouth of the Ebro, including rice fields, mussel beds, and picturesque fishing ports.

Fangar Bay Tour

At the appointed time, we will meet at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja Pier. We will board a minibus that will take us through the bay of Fangar, located in the Natural Park of the Ebro Delta.

We will enter the delta towards the fishing port of Illa de Mar, where we will make a stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the green filter lagoon, the village of l'Ampolla, the mussel farms, and the lighthouse of the Fangar peninsula.

We will walk around the port to see traditional boats and learn about the cultivation of mussels and oysters. Additionally, we will use binoculars to spot native birds, including the elegant flamingos.

Afterwards, we will visit the point where the Ebro flows into the Mediterranean Sea, an area with significant natural and scenic wealth.

Next, we will go up to the Zigurat viewpoint, which offers views of the island of San Antonio, the Garxal lagoon, the island of Buda, and the rice fields. Your camera will be ready for capturing these moments!

After a three-hour tour of the bay of Fangar, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
