Fangar Bay Tour

In this tour around the bay of Fangar, we'll explore the characteristic places of the north of the mouth of the Ebro, including rice fields, mussel beds, and fishing ports.

Fangar Bay Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja Pier. We'll board a minibus that will take us through Fangar Bay, located in the Natural Park of the Ebro Delta.

We'll enter the delta towards the fishing port of Illa de Mar, where we'll stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the green filter lagoon, the village of l'Ampolla, mussel farms, and the Fangar peninsula lighthouse.

We'll walk around the port to see traditional boats and learn about mussel and oyster cultivation. We'll also use binoculars to spot native birds and, hopefully, elegant flamingos.

Next, we'll visit the point where the Ebro flows into the Mediterranean Sea, an area known for its natural and scenic wealth.

Then, we'll ascend to the Zigurat viewpoint for views of the island of San Antonio, the Garxal lagoon, the island of Buda, and the rice fields.

After a three-hour tour of Fangar Bay, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
