Fangar Bay Tour

In this tour around the bay of Fangar, we will explore characteristic places of the north of the mouth of the Ebro, including rice fields, mussel beds, and picturesque fishing ports.

At the appointed time, we will meet at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja Pier. We will board a minibus for a tour of the bay of Fangar, located in the Natural Park of the Ebro Delta.

We will enter the delta towards the fishing port of Illa de Mar, making a stop to enjoy a panoramic view that includes the green filter lagoon, the village of l'Ampolla, the mussel farms, and the lighthouse of the Fangar peninsula.

We will explore the port, observe traditional boats, and learn about the cultivation of mussels and oysters. We will use binoculars to spot native birds, including flamingos.

Afterwards, we will visit the location where the Ebro flows into the Mediterranean Sea, an area with notable natural and scenic features.

Next, we will ascend to the Zigurat viewpoint, offering views of the island of San Antonio, the Garxal lagoon, the island of Buda, and the rice fields. This provides excellent photo opportunities.

After a three-hour tour of the bay of Fangar, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
