We will convene at the designated time at the Sant Jaume d'Enveja pier in Deltebre, ready to embark on our kayaking expedition towards Gracia Island. Prepare for an exciting journey!

To begin, we'll go over essential safety protocols and demonstrate how to operate the kayaks effectively. Once everyone feels comfortable, we will set off on our expedition along the River Ebro en route to Gracia Island.

As we glide along the riverbank, we will pass the charming village of Balada, situated directly across from Gracia Island. This locale is noteworthy for housing one of the most iconic trees in Catalonia, the 'Baladre de Balada.'

During the paddle, keep an eye out for the stunning riverside ecosystem. The landscape is adorned with poplars, silver poplars, and tamarinds, where we may spot magnificent storks, vibrant kingfishers, and the graceful grey heron.

Continuing our journey will lead us to Gracia Island, a destination nestled in the heart of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. Here, we will navigate its serene waters while our guide shares intriguing insights about this remarkable area, which has recently been designated as a Biosphere Reserve.

After approximately 1.5 hours of exploration, we will conclude our tour back at the original meeting point.
