On this tour of the island of Flores, you'll explore every corner of this natural oasis of the Atlantic Ocean.

Flores Island Day Tour

At 9:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel for a complete tour of the island of Flores.

We will travel on a minibus through the villages of Alagoa and Cedros, reaching the Carlos Machado Museum to learn about the history of the archipelago. Nearby, we will visit the Ilhéu Furado viewpoint for views of a unique rock formation.

The tour will continue to the viewpoint of Ponta Delgada, allowing us to see the islet of Maria Vaz. Following this, we will explore the island’s seven thermal water lakes, originating from volcanic calderas.

Participants will also view the basalt columns of Rocha dos Bordões. We will make stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes for panoramic views of Flores Island.

In the municipality of Lajes, we will visit the local church. An hour of free time for lunch will follow. We will then visit the Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro and the Poço do Bacalhau waterfall.

Finally, we will stop at the Ponta da Fajã viewpoint before returning to your hotel by 4:30 pm.
