Flores Island Day Tour

At 9:30 am, we will pick you up at your hotel for a complete tour of the island of Flores. We will travel in a minibus, passing through the villages of Alagoa and Cedros, and visit the Carlos Machado Museum to learn about the history of the archipelago. Nearby, we will stop at the Ilhéu Furado viewpoint for views of a unique rock.

Next, we will visit the viewpoint of Ponta Delgada, continue to see the islet of Maria Vaz, and explore the island's seven thermal water lakes originating from volcanic calderas.

During the tour, we'll view the basalt columns of Rocha dos Bordões, and make stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes for panoramic views of Flores Island.

In Lajes, we will explore the local church and its treasures. After an hour of free time for lunch, we will visit Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro and the Poço do Bacalhau waterfall.

Finally, we will stop at the Ponta da Fajã viewpoint for more stunning vistas before returning to your hotel by 4:30 pm.
