Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your selected meeting point in La Palma and travel by bus to Tajuya Square, a viewpoint highlighted during the Tajogaite volcanic eruption. Here, we'll observe the new landscape shaped by this event. Next, we’ll head to El Time, a viewpoint at 594 metres (1950 feet) above sea level, for scenic views of the Aridane Valley and La Caldera de Taburinete National Park. Depending on the day of your visit, we’ll proceed to either Puntagorda for the Farmer's Market on Sundays or Los Llanos de Aridane on Wednesdays. You will have some free time for lunch; please bring a packed meal.

We will then ascend to Roque de Los Muchachos, the highest point at 2426 metres (7960 feet) above sea level, noted for its ideal stargazing conditions. Enjoy views of the Taburiente Caldera and possibly glimpse the islands of El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife. The return journey will take us down the island's eastern side, with a stop at Los Andenes Viewpoint and a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Snows and La Concepción Viewpoint for views of Santa Cruz de La Palma. We’ll return to the original meeting point after a total of 8 hours.
