Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from the meeting point in La Palma you select and make our way by bus to Tajuya Square, a spot that became a prime viewpoint during the volcanic eruption of Tajogaite. Here, we'll see the new landscape shaped by this natural phenomenon that marked the island's history. Get ready to witness the power of nature!

Next, we'll head to El Time, an impressive viewpoint 594 metres (1950 feet) above sea level, where we'll enjoy scenic views of the Aridane Valley and the La Caldera de Taburinete National Park. Depending on the day of your visit, we’ll continue onto either Puntagorda, where we'll visit the Farmer's Market, or Los Llanos de Aridane. You'll have some free time to have some food, so remember to bring a packed lunch!

After re-energizing, we’ll travel up a winding road to Roque de Los Muchachos, the island's highest point at 2426 metres (7960 feet) above sea level. Known for its clear skies ideal for stargazing, it stands as a paradise for astronomers. Here, we'll take in the spectacular views of the Taburiente Caldera and, time permitting, we'll also try to spot El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife Islands. Prepare for sights that will leave you breathless!

To return, we’ll descend along the eastern side of the island, observing the differing layers of Canary Island vegetation. We'll stop at Los Andenes Viewpoint to admire the impressive Barranco de Las Angustias and conclude our journey with a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Snows, the patron saint of La Palma, and La Concepción Viewpoint. Here, the views of Santa Cruz de La Palma and the island's eastern coast are magnificent.

Finally, we'll return to our original meeting point and conclude the day after a total of 8 hours.
