Join us on a day trip to explore north-eastern La Palma, featuring Los Tilos Forest and Charco Azul, along with a visit to a rum distillery.

Los Tilos Forest & Charco Azul Day Trip + Rum Distillery Tour

Pickup is between 8 and 9:20 am from your selected meeting point to start the tour. We will first visit Enamorado Waterfall for views of the surrounding landscape and learn about local legends. Following this, we will stop at the Church of San Bartolo for a coffee break.

Afterward, we will travel through San Andrés and take a 30-minute walk through banana plantations to Puerto Espindola beach. Next, we will head to Charco Azul's natural pools.

We will then visit the Aldea rum distillery to learn about sugar cane rum production, followed by stops at the viewpoints of La Tosca and Fajana de Barlovento for photos.

You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch in Los Sauces before we go to the Los Tilos Forest Nature Reserve and its visitor centre to discuss the laurel forest's origins and conservation. The day ends between 3:30 and 4:30 pm at the starting point.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from Fuencaliente, Puerto Naos, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Los Llanos de Aridane, and Los Cancajos.

Partial Closures

Currently, access to Los Tilos Forest is closed due to a landslide, and the waterfall visit is not possible. Instead, the tour will include a walk in the asphalted area of Cubo de la Galga.
