Join us to explore the lushness of La Palma on this hiking route through the Nacientes de Marcos y Cordero trail, a notable hike on Isla Bonita.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your chosen meeting point and drive by minibus to the heart of the west of La Palma. The hiking route will last approximately 5 hours, covering 12.5 kilometres (7.7 miles) of high difficulty. We will traverse lush vegetation along canals that irrigate the island's vine and banana plantations. The trail's name derives from its designer.
During the hike, we'll pass through 13 tunnels excavated in the mountain to the water source of these passages. We will descend through Barranco del Agua, also experiencing an impressive laurel forest with giant ferns from the Tertiary Era. Multiple breaks will be scheduled, allowing for picnic refueling. The hike concludes at the Los Tilos waterfall in Las Nieves Natural Park.
After 6 to 7 hours of activity, you'll return to the starting point.
