Roque de los Muchachos Hike

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your chosen meeting point. We'll board a bus and travel to the highest point of the island: Roque de los Muchachos.

We'll begin our moderate-level hiking route through Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The trail runs along the crater's edge, showcasing various astronomical observatories and the cloud cover over the northern part of the island, providing excellent photographic opportunities.

During the tour, we'll encounter a variety of vegetation such as cedars, laburnum, broom, pansies, and tajinastes. The hiking path crosses a basalt stone wall known as Roberto's Wall, associated with a unique legend.

The hiking route, approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) long, will also take us to Pico de la Cruz. Here, we'll pause to enjoy the landscapes and, if weather permits, see panoramic views of El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife.

At the end of the tour, we'll return to the starting point and conclude our time together after between 4 and 5 hours.
