Roque de los Muchachos Hike

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your chosen meeting point. Here, we will board a bus and begin our journey to the highest point of the island: Roque de los Muchachos.

We'll disembark and commence our moderate-level hiking route through Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The trail runs along the crater's edge, showcasing various astronomical observatories and the clouds blanketing the northern part of the island, providing opportunities for impressive photographs.

Throughout the tour, we will encounter diverse vegetation, including cedars, laburnum, broom, pansies, and tajinastes, particularly vibrant during spring. The hiking path features a basalt stone wall known as Roberto's Wall, linked to a unique legend.

The approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) hiking route also leads to Pico de la Cruz, the closest point to the famous Roque de los Muchachos, where we will pause for final landscape views and, weather permitting, see El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife.

Upon completing the tour, we will return to the starting point and conclude our experience after approximately 4 to 5 hours together.
