Explore the highest peaks of La Palma and get to know the beautiful landscapes of Caldera de Taburiente National Park on this hiking route to Roque de los Muchachos.

Roque de los Muchachos Hike

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your chosen meeting point. We will board a bus to the highest point of the island: Roque de los Muchachos.

We will disembark and start our hiking route through Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The trail runs along the edge of the crater, where we will see astronomical observatories and the cloud cover that blankets the northern part of the island.

During the tour, we will observe various vegetation such as cedars, laburnum, broom, pansies, and tajinastes. We will also cross Roberto's Wall, linked to a unique legend.

The hiking route, approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) long, will take us to Pico de la Cruz, the closest point to Roque de los Muchachos. We will stop to enjoy the landscapes and, weather permitting, the panoramic views of El Hierro, La Gomera, and Tenerife.

After 4 to 5 hours together, we will return to the starting point and conclude the tour.
