Tour Details

At the agreed time, we'll meet at a central point in the city to start a free tour of Santa Cruz. Our first stop is the Nuestra Señora de África Market, a neo-colonial building filled with stalls selling tropical fruits, spices, fresh fish, and flowers.

Next, we'll visit the Guimerá Theatre, the oldest in the Canary Islands, known for its neoclassical façade. It highlights Santa Cruz's status as an artistic hub.

We will also explore Plaza España, a central meeting point and historically home to the Castle of San Cristóbal, which once defended against pirate attacks, including Admiral Horatio Nelson's in 1797.

Our tour lasts for a total of 2 hours, concluding in the center of Santa Cruz.
