Abra de Canasi Hike + Snorkelling

At 9:15 am we'll meet at Abra de Canasí, near Boca de Canasí, to start a trekking route through this natural reserve in northern Cuba.

Initially, we will meet a family of fishermen who will welcome us with a breakfast of coffee, toast, and fruit. Next, we will cross the Canasí River on foot to access a trail where we will prepare for a 30-minute expedition. During the walk, we will traverse a dense forest with coves, palms, seedlings, and yagrumas.

Upon completing the trek, we will arrive at La Cazuela, offering views of the Atlantic. Participants can take photos of the clear waters. Afterward, we will equip ourselves for snorkelling to explore the area, diving to observe tropical fish, turtles, and colorful elkhorn corals.

For lunch, we will pause in the forest to enjoy a light meal consisting of a sandwich, an appetizer, fruit, and water. After lunch, we will walk back to the meeting point, concluding the experience at 3 pm.
