Hershey Gardens Excursion by Motorbike

On this trip to Hershey Gardens from Playa Jibacoa, we will use a classic motorbike, a popular means of transport in Cuba, providing a unique way to escape the capital.

Description

We will meet at Memories Jibacora Resort Hotel at Playa Jibacoa, where the classic motorbike for the tour to Hershey Gardens will be located. After a brief introduction to the history of classic motorbikes, we will depart on a 55-kilometre ride along Via Blanca, named for the nearby white sandy beaches.

After about an hour, we will reach Hershey Gardens, possibly hearing the calls of native birds such as the tocororo during our ride. We will make stops for photos and enjoy the scenery.

While touring, we will discuss the town's creation in the 1930s by Milton Hershey, an American philanthropist. This area is considered one of the most picturesque towns in Cuba.

Upon arrival at the gardens, you can enjoy the crystal-clear river waters and spend the morning swimming at small waterfalls. A picnic lunch will follow, providing time to regain your strength.

In the afternoon, we will explore the area via a trail that is hard to access without local knowledge, ultimately arriving at refreshing waterfalls.

After seven hours, we will return to Playa Jibacoa to conclude the tour to Hershey Gardens.
