History and nature combine perfectly on this excursion to Penedo, a village in Alagoas, including a boat trip on the São Francisco River to Recanto Island.

Penedo Tour

We will depart at 5 am from your hotel in Maceió toward Penedo.

Upon arrival in the village, there will be an opportunity for breakfast at a centrally located café. Afterward, we will proceed to the town's dock for a boat ride on the Sao Francisco River, experiencing scenic views.

The excursion will conclude at Recanto Island, where swimming in the river is possible. Following this, there will be a return by boat to the departure pier, allowing one hour for lunch at a riverside restaurant.

After lunch, a guided tour of the historic centre of Penedo will take place, showcasing colonial architecture. Key sights include the façade of the Teatro Sete de Setembro and the church of Nossa Senhora das Cadenas.

The tour will return to your hotel in Maceió, with an expected arrival time of 8 pm.
