History and nature combine perfectly on this excursion to Penedo. In this picturesque village in Alagoas, we will enjoy a boat trip on the São Francisco River to Recanto Island.

Penedo Tour

We'll depart at 5 am from your hotel in Maceió toward Penedo. Upon arrival, we will stop at a cafe for breakfast on your own. Afterward, we will head to the dock for a boat ride on the Sao Francisco River, surrounded by scenic nature.

The trip concludes at Recanto Island, where you can swim in the Sao Francisco River. Following the swim, we will return by boat to the pier, allowing one hour for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the river.

After lunch, we will take a guided tour of the historic centre of Penedo. This area is known for its colonial architecture, where we will see the Teatro Sete de Setembro and visit the main churches, including the church of Nossa Senhora das Cadenas.

At the end of the tour, we will return to your hotel in Maceió, with arrival expected at 8 pm.
