Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Maceió at the designated time for a 14-mile (23-kilometer) drive to Praia do Francês, a beach with warm waters in southern Alagoas.

Upon arrival in Marechal Deodoro, enjoy 5 hours of free time at the Tropical restaurant. Use the loungers to relax and enjoy the turquoise waters of northeastern Brazil. You can practice aquatic sports and try the local cuisine.

Afterward, we will return to Maceió for a scenic tour of the "City of Smiles." Our exploration includes the neighborhood of Jaraguá, where you can stroll through the historic center with its narrow streets and 19th-century houses and shops.

Visits will include the Museum of Image and Sound and the Associação Comercial de Maceió. We will also see Praça Marsílio Dias, Praça Visconde de Sinimbú, Praça Floriano Peixoto, and Praça Dom Pedro II. Admire charming churches, including Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres, Bom Jesus dos Martírios, and the Maceió Metropolitan Cathedral, inaugurated in 1856.

Before concluding, we will view important buildings such as the Palácio de Governo, Deodoro Theater, and the Academy of Letters of Alagoas, along with a brief stop at the lookout at São Gonçalo do Amarante. Ensure your camera is ready!

We will stop at the Crafts Pavilion for traditional artisanal crafts before returning to your hotel, concluding our tour after approximately 9 hours.
